Love is understanding and understanding means introducing (or dragging along) your partner/situationship/platonic companion to your interest. Also allow them to do the same because balance, babe. My husband and I have been sharing our miniscule obsessions and brief hyperfixations since we were friends. I used to watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes back in 2020ish(?) when they aired the remake version. I try to watch and dip my toes into different anime genre but politics are quite new for me. I don't watch mecha that often but I understand the appeal. Robot go brrr and pew-pew and why colonization is bad before back to selling diy merch.
Intimidated by the long-list of Gundam franchise, I find LOGH (remake) fascinating. I couldn't find the full 100+ original episodes yet but I want to rewatch the entire remake. I'm attracted to the realism and social commentary despite the dense storyline and 776478 of both significant and side characters. If it something you like, check it out!
